This will be our 3rd stay at this wonderful hotel and we wouldn’t stay anywhere else. Where to begin….the warm welcome from the Monsieur, Madame and their son Thomas Mugnier makes us feel like family. As always our room is beyond expectation – the most comfortable bed EVER, slippers, robes, complimentary toiletries and a sensible wardrobe with plenty of hangers for ski kit. The rooms are so quiet, sleep is never disturbed. Being right on the snow line the views are amazing and if you aren’t skiing ( or if you are and need some R&R at the end of a tough day) the hotel spa soothes weary legs. A brand new hot tub, a steam room and sauna revives aching muscles. And the food…. Instead of half board the Bellevue now operates on a B&B basis with lunch and evening meals being served in the Restaurant Hotel Bellevue. There is a "Suggestion du Jour" which changes every evening and is of exceptional value (we wandered around the other eateries in Les Gets and could find no where that serves the quality of food for less than Restaurant Bellevue). If the daily menu doesn’t suit, there is always the à la carte menu to choose from. Breakfast is filling and plentiful and typically French – no fry up here.. please don’t complain this is a French hotel!!The Aprés ski Bar is lively and busy, the "place to be" at the end of the day to enjoy a drink at the outside bar with family and friends whilst listening to good live music. Where better to congregate while the little ones play on sledges on the hill at the hotel. And the negatives….we didn’t want to come home and our waist lines were expanding with the superb food served each evening by the hugely talented chef and his team. We can’t thank the wonderful Mugnier family and the smiley happy staff of Hotel Bellevue enough. Cant wait for next year when we will go back.
